It's Sunday. Hopefully a lazy Sunday. Why not get your Sunday started off right with a little Star Wars trivia? The answer to my question is below, so no need to cheat.

Question: What actor portrayed Darth Vader in the original trilogy?

Answer: This is actually a bit of a trick question, because the Original Trilogy Darth Vader we know and love was played by two different people. James Earl Jones provided the voice of Darth Vader while David Prowse was the man actually in the suit. David Prowse allegedly didn't know that his voice wasn't planned to be used for the final film until he saw the finished thing in theaters!

Another fun fact: David Prowse is a well-known British weight lifter (he even won the British heavyweight weightlifting championship in 1962). As such, in one of the final scenes of Episode Six when you see Vader hoist the Emperor over his head and throw him into the reactor core, there's no trick videography there. Dave Prowse literally did the lifting. Now that's some practical effects!
